Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

In our own lives, each of us was touched by someone – other then our parents – who introduced us to new worlds and brought a little magic into our lives… catching fireflies for the first time, flying a kite, a first trip to the ballpark, building sandcastles at the beach, eating an ice cream sundae. By becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister, you can do the same for a child. And you will both be forever changed by the experience.

New volunteers and corporate partners are needed to mentor children in the Dodge County area schools and communities every day. There are so many children in the county that need a friend in their life – make a difference, be a friend and help put hope in their future. Please consider volunteering, becoming a corporate partner, or making a financial contribution today.

Our parish values each of its member. In doing so, we nominate those parishioners we feel walk with Jesus and set the example for all of us to follow by sharing their time and talents. They are our parishes treasures. Then each year the Pastoral Council reviews the nominations submitted online at anytime or by a note in the parish collections during the “Cornerstone Award Nomination Campaign” in March as designated in the bulletin and selects one member from each parish to be the annual recipient of the”CORNERSTONE AWARD”.

I would like to welcome you to St. Mary School in Mayville, Wisconsin. Our school is very small, but we like to describe it as “Small but Mighty.” After all, David was small but with God’s help he prevailed against great odds. St. Mary’s is committed to providing a faith-centered education to students in 3K through 2nd Grade as well as offering childcare to children ages 2-12. We embrace our Catholic identity, strive for academic excellence, and encourage our students to serve God and others. St. Mary’s provides a nurturing and faith-centered environment where children are encouraged to do their very best to reach their potential. St. Mary School stresses the importance of sharing God-given talents and gifts with others. We attend Mass weekly and make prayer and praying together part of our daily routine.

The teachers at St. Mary School are encouraged to participate in professional development opportunities that enrich and improve our educational programming. They incorporate 21st Century technology in their teaching and each classroom is equipped with interactive whiteboards; students have access to iPads and laptops, as well as a computer lab. The curriculum guidelines set forth by the Milwaukee Archdiocese and the State of Wisconsin are followed in all subject areas.

St. Mary School prepares students to know, love, and serve God, now and in the future, through a faith-driven and child-centered environment. We provide an atmosphere that is spiritually nourishing, morally sound, and academically challenging, family-oriented, and socially interactive. Our goal is to instill in our students the importance of life-long education and the attainable goals that are within their grasp. Thank you for taking the time to learn about St. Mary School. If you would like to learn more about the school, please feel free to contact us at (920) 387-2920.
